GMA NEWS: The PNP warned that people who will not observe social distancing in public markets amid the threat posed by COVID-19 could be arrested. According to PNP spokesman Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac, those who will not observe social distancing could be charged for violating the Bayanihan to Heal As One Act. Banac said three teams would be deployed in public markets to ensure that the entry of individuals would be controlled.
