The SSS membership coverage drive has significantly outperformed expectations for this year. SSS President and CEO Rolando Ledesma Macasaet praised the exceptional efforts of branches that have not only met but exceeded their targets ahead of schedule.
Leading the charge among Mega and Large branches are Dagupan, Lapu-Lapu, Iloilo-Central, Davao, and Cebu. These branches, managed by Primitivo D. Verania, Jr., Sheila Marie V. Abad, Eva J. Cura, Alnora Presbiterio, and Eric Coronado, respectively, have demonstrated outstanding results.
In NCR Operations, the Pasay-CCP Complex, Navotas, Deparo, and Tanay branches, under the leadership of Daniel T. Caput, Jeanne Hellane Ifurung, Ma. Consuelo S. Castillejos, and Jeffrey D. Pascual, also delivered impressive performances.
Among the overall top performers, the Koronadal, Mati, Baler, Catbalogan, and Batangas branches stood out, exceeding their targets by over 230%. These branches are led by Jose Froilan M. Garcia, Sharon M. Porlares, Christian C. Catacutan, Aileen A. Olaran, and Tiffany B. Lobo.
This year, SSS set a goal to register 2 million new members. By July 2024, the organization had already surpassed this goal, registering 2.4 million new members—an achievement representing 122.4% of the target.
SSS Management commends these branches for their relentless dedication to expanding membership, in alignment with the institution’s mission to broaden coverage, particularly among self-employed individuals and those in the informal sector.
