Police Regional Office 7 has a new Regional Director, PBGen Anthony A Aberin, who was formally welcomed during the Turn-Over of Office Ceremony presided by PLTGen Patrick T Villacorte, Commander, APC-Visayas, held at PRO7 Parade Ground, Camp Sergio Osmeña, Sr., Cebu City.
PBGen Aberin replaced PBGen Jerry F Bearis, who was reassigned as Director of Aviation Security Group (AVSEG) 7.
In his message, PBGen Bearis thanked the men and women of PRO7, partner agencies, and the Central Visayas community for giving their unyielding support during his term which made Central Visayas a peaceful and safe place to live, work, and do business with.
PBGen Aberin likewise acknowledged the hard work and accomplishments of his predecessor, PBGen Jerry F Bearis, who, through his leadership brought Police Regional Office 7 to greater heights.
The Turnover of Office Ceremony was attended by PLTGen Patrick T Villacorte, Commander, APC-Visayas, other senior PNP officials and their families, and PRO7 personnel. (PRO7-PIO)
