8 drug pushers nabbed in Central Luzon

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Eight drug personalities were arrested while several sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" were confiscated in anti-illegal drug operations in Central Luzon over the weekend.

Chief Supt. Amador V. Corpus, regional director of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Monday said that police operatives are continuously conducting police operations in the region that led to the arrest of the suspected drug pushers -- one in Olongapo City, one in Castillejos, Zambales, two in Guagua and one in Mexico, both in Pampanga, and three in Nueva Ecija.

"The entire Central Luzon police force will not stop its campaign until all forms of illegal drugs in the region is eradicated. We also keep on intensifying our anti-criminality efforts to ensure the safety and security of the general public," Corpus said.

Operatives of Olongapo City Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 4 arrested Aldwin Conde, 35, a resident of Purok 5, National Highway, Barangay New Cabalan, Olongapo City and confiscated from him six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money used in the buy bust operation.

In Pampanga, police authorities nabbed Romy David, 40, of Barangay Natividad, and Joselito Salvador, 49, of Barangay San Agustin, both in Guagua town and Jhay Perez,19, of Barangay Pandacaqui, Mexico. Confiscated from the suspects were eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money.

Operatives of Castillejos Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Magsaysay, Castillejos, Zambales which resulted in the arrest of Guillermo Padrique, 47, and seizure of four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money.

In Nueva Ecija, police operatives arrested Marlon Cabling, 45; Gerardo Fernando, 44; and Cesar Balasote, 44; all residents of Barangay MS Garcia, Cabanatuan City and seized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu. (PNA)
