Quiboloy vs Marcos

Pastor Quiboloy and Senator Lacson Cases; ‘No laws broken for turning fugitive from justice’

With the current display of abuse of authority by the Marcos Administration in illegally occupying the KOJC property against the will of its owners, the members of the religious group, people have now realized that indeed, the good pastor is within his right to evade arrest for fear of being unjustly exterminated.

And aside from presumptive divine protection, the law maybe also on the side of PACQ, citing the Lacson case here.

In 2010, then incumbent Senator Panfilo Lacson informed his colleagues in the Senate that he will go into hiding with the impending filing of criminal case against him by the DOJ on the double murder of publicist Bubby Dacer and his driver, Corbito in 2000. Lacson’s reason of going fugitive from justice echoes that of PACQ - “For now, my concern is my own personal safety and security. I will not allow Mrs. Arroyo and her cohorts in the DOJ the pleasure of seeing my life miserable and in danger. This is one case that I will dispute the argument – flight is an indication of guilt. I am not guilty but I cannot risk putting my life and security at the mercy of that evil conspiracy,” Lacson said.

Just like PACQ to Marcos, Lacson was then a fierce critique of the Arroyo Administration, exposing the administration’s corruption and other anomalies that GMA and her cohorts perpetrated against the interest of the Filipino people. He knew that the case filed against him by the DOJ was obviously politically motivated and that his arrest was designed to silence him for good. Hence, he left the country just few days before the warrant for his arrest was issued on 5 February 2010 by a court in Manila.

While into hiding abroad and notwithstanding the issuance of red notice on him by the Interpol, Lacson’s case proceeded in the country with his lawyers availing of all legal remedies until the Court of Appeals decided to nullify the warrant for his arrest and dismissed the murder case against him. Such CA decision was affirmed by the Supreme Court in 2011.

So, after 15 months into hiding, Lacson came back to the country victorious on his case, and then sought the permission of the Senate leadership to open his office which then Senate President Enrile gladly obliged, and voila, his colleagues embraced him back. He maintained that he did not violate any laws when he refused to be placed physically under the custody of the law enforcers he suspects of killing him and chose to fight his legal battles instead while on the run. People supported his actions as can be affirmed when he ran for reelection in the senate and won again, and even gave a shot a the Presidency despite his indelible mark as once ‘fugitive from justice’.

There is no doubt, Lacson is a prominent politician who is incomparable to PACQ - an ordinary leader of a religious organization called KOJC. But PGMA did not mobilize more than 3 thousand PNP personnel to hunt him down, nor did she put a 10M bounty on Lacson’s head or cancel his passport. She knew, such will be viewed as a display of unnecessary force which would boomerang on her.

What makes PACQ extra special insofar as the administration is concerned is not only his being a fierce critique of the administration but it is his association with the Duterte’s who are now poised to become this administration’s political nemesis. Moreover, Uncle Sam wants PACQ’s head delivered on a silver platter to the US for which Marcos must have graciously promised in a preposterous display of this government’s subservience to foreign dictates in exchange of personal favor for PBBM.

Obviously, the cases filed against PACQ is politically motivated. Aside from being recycled, interested parties salivating on his head for monetary considerations or whatever, have made their intentions clear – to exterminate him at all costs. This has prompted PACQ therefore to do the Lacson option. He is not violating or avoiding the law. He is facing the cases in court squarely with his lawyers but refused to be killed as a sure consequence for his arrest.

What is going on in Davao City can be a trap for the Duterte’s and this has been carefully hatched by the Marcos administration. The act of illegally occupying the KOJC premises using such horrendous amount of PNP force is actually an act of provoking the Dutertes. General Torre is under instruction to search every corner of the KOJC premises and once PACQ is found within the compound, he will definitely be executed and since FPRRD is the administrator of the KOJC properties, he will then be facing cases of harboring a fugitive from justice and obstruction.

General Torre seems to challenge Mayor Baste to make his moves along with the local PNP officials in defending the oppressed Davaoenos which would justify the administration in filing cases against the mayor or arresting him depending on the gravity of his actions. This is the reason why General Torre decided to get PNP forces from other regions so that when fighting erupts, and the local PNP forces depict to the side of the Mayor, he thinks that PNP forces from other regions are his dogs willing to fight alongside himself. I wonder how these PNP forces take Torre’s conviction on their supposed blind loyalty to him.

Of course, they also want to see VP Sara and cong. Pulong to join the fray and this would give the lapdogs of Marcos in Congress the needed ammo to file impeachment complaint against her and in the case of Pulong, a complaint in the Marcos-controlled ethics committee in the House of Crocs to finally get rid of him.

This is the one-shot deal scenario which Marcos Jr and his cohorts are hoping to elicit from this Davao brouhaha. And the template we are looking at is reminiscent of what Marcos Sr. did during his dictatorial regime. Remember Ninoy? He was killed in NAIA Tarmac on August 21, 1983, under the watch of security forces deployed by PBBM’s father to protect Ninoy upon his arrival in Manila. All Marcos Sr. did was to deny a hand in Ninoy’s assassination and just ordered an investigation thereon. And you know what happened four decades after? Nothing.

This is the dreaded murderous template which PBBM will be using in annihilating his political opponents from Davao City. Once successful, this will send chilling effect to other areas for other would-be political enemies to stand down in the name of expediency and thereby, paving the way for the Marcos’ perpetuation into power for as long as they want. Worst, the total silence of the mainstream media on the abuses of General Torre in occupying the KOJC premises is an ominous warning that the oligarch-owned media companies are now also controlled by PBBM, thus leaving the people with no choice but to rely on social media for truthful information on what is going on in the country.

But the Dutertes are not born yesterday. Their calculated moves in the face of these provoking actions from the government have rendered this Marcos trap inutile and is doomed to fail.

General Torre was constantly on the phone, getting orders from someone on every move he made in the course of illegally occupying the KOJC premises. Torre reports to the Chief PNP, therefore, General Marbil must have called the shot on his actions. But General Marbil reports to Secretary Abalos of DILG who has been eager with gnashing teeth to get the head of PACQ. Therefore, Abalos gives the order to General Torre.

But ultimately, Abalos is an alter ego of PBBM and the former cannot order something on the ground sans the blessings of the latter, his principal. Ergo, the main architect and in fact, the culprit who is directly accountable by command responsibility of the on-going oppressive actions of the police force in the KOJC is no less than PBBM. His continued silence notwithstanding the death, damages and chaos Torre has inflicted in Davao City reinforces the suspicion that indeed, he is behind everything that is bungled big time on the ground.

To the KOJC members, we are with you in these difficult times. While we condemn the oppressive treatment, the bastardization of your compound which you hold sacred, and damages this administration has inflicted in your organization, let us maintain our calmness and be guided by your faith in driving away these evils from your premises. We continue to pray for the safety of PACQ and may those who harbor him be given the strength and guidance to avoid authorities from arresting him and then kill him in the process. This is a trap which all of us should endeavor to prevent this administration from securing a justification to perpetuate themselves in power.

We also pray for the Duterte’s to be discerning and circumspect in their actions as they try to defend the people of Davao and the rest of the country in the face of the bait laid upon them by this administration, leading to the Dutertes’ political demise. Let us also pray for the innocent PNP forces from other regions in Mindanao who are being used by the Marcos administration to fight against the local PNP forces in Davao. May they be guided not to succumb to the demonic pressures of shedding bloodshed among Mindanaon police forces on instruction of their commander-in-chief holding the baton from his ivory tower in Luzon, watching us, Mindanaons, killing each other.

The KOJC unfortunate incident is a boiling point that should force every sane Filipino citizen to start speaking up at this early sighting of an impending dictatorship driven by greed and evil desire to perpetuate himself and his family and allies into power. We should slap them with our strong abhorrence to the idea of resurrecting the Marcos Sr. dictatorship template from being applied in the current dispensation by his son. If need be, we should excavate that template from the Libingan ng mga Bayani and bury it back in Hawaii with whoever attempts to use that template to show our disgust. Never again!

Lastly, I wish to share the apologies offered by VP Sara Duterte for those people whom she convinced to help campaign and vote for PBBM in the 2022 Presidential elections. Such apology is timely and warranted.

I too, have deeply regretted my actions. And for that, I am sorry for convincing you to campaign and vote for PBBM in the last 2022 Presidential Elections. – Jun Avelino

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
