Chief Supt. Benjardi Mantele, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director, removed the tapes from the muzzles of the service firearms of his men on Monday morning at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal, Sikatuna Village, Diliman, Quezon City.
Mantele expressed gladness that none of his subordinates fired a gun during the recent New Year revelries.
The policemen's guns were sealed last week to deter them from firing indiscriminately while welcoming the Year of the Rabbit. (PNA)
