With reports by the Department of Health (DOH) on the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country these past few days, President Duterte states that the government will not hesitate to implement stricter quarantine classifications in areas with rising number of cases. He reminds the people to continue observing public health protocols in order to protect themselves and their communities against the virus.
As the country awaits the arrival of more COVID-19 vaccines and vaccination program to the rest of the Filipinos following the medical frontliners and healthcare workers, President Duterte assures his ‘kababayans’ that the government is putting its best effort to ensure that only safe and effective vaccines will be procured and that the necessary measures are being undertaken towards economic recovery.
