MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience warm and humid weather, with the easterlies as the dominant weather system affecting the country, a weather specialist said Thursday.
Samuel Duran, of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail while isolated rain showers may be expected, especially in the afternoon.
The frontal system affecting Northern Luzon, on the other hand, will cause cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Cagayan Valley Region and Aurora province.
Duran said there is no low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over the northern and eastern sections of Northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of Luzon will have moderate winds and seas.
