TIGNAN | Ayon kay Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna, aabutin ng 20 taon bago mabayaran ng pamahalaang lungsod ang P17.8 bilyong utang na iniwan ng administrasyon ni dating Mayor Isko Moreno.


Ani Mayor Honey, ang minanang utang ay humahadlang sa pagtugon sa agarang pangangailangan ng mga residente, lalo na ang 203,000 na senior citizens, mahigit 50,000 na mga taong may kapansanan at solo parents, at mga nasa 20,000 estudyanteng benepisyaryo ng Universidad de Manila at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila na pinapatakbo ng lungsod.


Dagdag niya, simula nang siya'y maupo noong 2022, P2.5 bilyon na ang nabayaran sa utang.
