Philippine Army raises flag for 125th Founding Anniversary

The Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., led the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the Army’s 125th Founding Anniversary on March 22, 2022 at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.

Army Major Units nationwide joined in the celebration via Video Teleconference as the Army Officers and Enlisted Personnel donned the new Philippine Army Seal Patch and reaffirmed their Oath of Allegiance to the organization.

The CGPA greeted the virtual and physical attendees and reminded them of the reason behind the celebration as they welcomed another year of serving the people and securing the land.

“Today, as we commemorate the 125th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Army, let us take this opportunity to remember the gorgeous history of our noble organization and pay tribute to the valiant sacrifices of our gallant forefathers whose ideals of Philippine nationalism and heroism remain as our hallmark of service. Let us epitomize our righteous values as faithful soldiers and as committed public servants in fostering lasting peace and inclusive progress across our nation,” said Lt. Gen. Brawner in his remarks.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
