CALAMBA CITY, Laguna Aug. 10 -- Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has formally opened its trucks and buses dealership and service center for Southern Luzon on Wednesday at Barangay Real here in partnership with Hyundai Laguna, Inc. in a bid to boost investment and enhance economic dynamism in the area.
Richard L. Lee, chairman emeritus of HARI; and Ma. Fe Perez Agudo, president and chief executive officer of HARI; led the inaugural rites and the forging of the dealership and service agreement with Hyundai Laguna, Inc. president and Dealer Principal Cesar Areza.
Agudo commended the Areza group for having the advantage of knowing the market in the Calabarzon region comprising the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.
Agudo said Hyundai can deliver their requirements to spur development in the Calabarzon region.
Meanwhile, Areza expressed his commitment to serve the company’s clients to mark the event as a new milestone for the transport business in the region.
He said his son Ceasar Gabriel, vice president for Automative Division of Hyundai Laguna, will lead the management of the new dealership, putting youth and dynamism in the workplace.
Hyundai officials said their trucks and buses dealership business agreement is the first in Southern Luzon although the Korean firm has embarked on their luxury cars and utility vehicles way ahead. (Zen Trinidad/PNA)
