PDEA SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, August 5, 2022 at the Glasshouse, New World Makati Hotel, Makati City.
The MOU aims support the National Coast Watch System an inter-agency mechanism for a coordinated approach on maritime issues and security operations that encompass everything from terrorism to transnational drug trafficking.
The said activity was attended by PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva, MPA, CESE together with PDEA Chief-of-Staff Director III Charlene R. Magdurulang; PDEA Service Directors; Mr. Richard Sisson, Acting Ambassador, Australian Embassy in the Philippines; and Detective Superintendent Andrew Perkins, Senior Officer of the Australian Federal Police.
PDEA continues to be close partners with the Australian Federal Police working towards further economic progress and regional stability.
