PAGASA: Northeast monsoon, easterlies to bring isolated rainshowers WednesdayMANILA, March 1 (PNA) -- Isolated rainshowers is expected over most parts of the archipelago due to the easterlies and the northeast monsoon, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Wednesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light rains may prevail over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Aurora province.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains is expected over Ilocos region and the rest of central Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast will prevail over Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.(PNA)
