PAGASA: Northeast monsoon affects Luzon, Visayas
MANILA, Jan. 3 (PNA) -- Cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Mindanao on Tuesday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
Cloudy skies with light rains is expected over the regions of Cagayan Valley, Bicol, eastern and central Visayas, and of Aurora and Quezon provinces, it added.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
In its 24-hour advisory, PAGASA said northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon and Visayas.
Moderate to strong winds will blow from northeast over Luzon, Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
PAGASA said winds will be light to moderate coming from northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
