About P5 million worth of shabu amounting to almost half a kilo was confiscated by operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation in separate raids in Bohol, a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday said.
A man was arrested in Panglao after he was found in possession of some packets containing shabu. He also had a gun and cash worth P60,000 on him when he was arrested, the report said.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation in the first district of Taloto in Tagbilaran City, two men were caught with packets of shabu and drug paraphernalia.
The arrested men will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
The men denied the accusations.
According to the NBI, the operations were conducted after they received tips about the selling of illegal drugs in the said areas, the report said. —KG, GMA News
