OWWA DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR ARNELL IGNACIO NOW IN KUWAIT TO FOLLOW-THROUGH ON PHL-KUWAIT MOU

Some Filipinos residing and working in Kuwait welcomed OWWA deputy administrator Arnell Ignacio upon his arrival in the emirate on Friday.

Ignacio is in Kuwait to witness the signing of the memorandum of understanding which he helped craft in his capacity as OWWA deputy administrator appointed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

It will be recalled that Ignacio had been shuttling between Kuwait and Manila over the past several months to work out details of the MOU and to attend to cases of OFWs in Kuwait, including that of Joanna Demafelis.

Ignacio was an OFW entertainer throughout much of his career and performed before overseas Filipino communities, including those in the Middle East. In the process, he has developed rapport with Filipino expats, agencies, and officials in those countries where he worked. (END)
