Orange Rainfall warning for Metro Manila

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday issued an "Orange Rainfall" warning for Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

This was issued around 5:45 a.m. and expected to be in effect for the next three hours.

"Heavy to at times intense rainfall is affecting Metro Manila, Zambales, and Bataan and most likely to continue for the next 3 hours," PAGASA stressed.

It added that moderate to heavy rains affecting Rizal, Bulacan, Pampanga and portions of Laguna, Quezon, Cavite, and Occidental Mindoro which may persist within three hours.

"Flooding is threatening and people are advised to monitorthe weather condition and for the next updates," PAGASA added.
