Crested Serpent Eagle in Zamboanga

A Crested serpent eagle was released back in Mt. Sinai, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte. Found by a local resident in Piñan during heavy rain, the young eagle was rescued, treated, and released on November 21.


Thanks to the quick action and teamwork of the DENR-Community Environment and Natural Resources Office and Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, the bird is back where it belongs, reminding us of the power of community and conservation. Let’s all do our part to protect wildlife and the environment. 🌍💚
