A Palace official on Tuesday said November 2 (All Soul’s Day) has not been declared a holiday.
Executive Secretary Paquito “Jojo†Ochoa said only November 1 (All Saint’s Day) was declared a holiday to allow Filipinos to visit their dead loved ones.
In previous years, November 2 was declared a holiday, as part of the former administration’s “holiday economicsâ€.
This year, November 2, which falls on a Tuesday, remains a regular working day.
â€He [President Benigno Aquino] did not sign any proclamation,†Ochoa said. (PNA)
