Isabela town placed under calamity status due to dengue outbreak
By Villamor Visaya Jr.

LUNA, Isabela, July 1 (PNA) -- This town in the third district of Isabela has been declared under the state of calamity following a dengue outbreak here.

Luna Mayor Jaime Atayde has reported at least 33 villagers who were afflicted with dengue fever in the past weeks aside from those brought to private hospitals.

The patients were eventually treated and survived.

Vice Mayor Andy Domingo and the town councilors have unanimously approved a resolution declaring Luna under calamity state due to the onslaught of dengue cases.

At least P500,000 has been earmarked from the calamity fund of the local government for fogging operations and financial assistance to affected families.

Due to the hike of cases, Atayde asked village officials to lead information drive on dengue prevention.(PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
