Filipina international designer Monique Lhuillier has opened her new Boutique in Los Angeles. The shop is located in the prime spot on the corner of Melrose Place and La Cienega.

The opening combined to create a dazzling display of Hollywood's most gorgeous females all wearing Lhuillier cocktail dresses.

Among the who's who who attended the opening and are big fans of the Cebu-bred designer were jewelry designer Martin Katz, event planner Patrick Herning, and " Charlie's Angels" director McG, Maggie Grace and Jud Tylor, Rebecca Gayheart, Jessica Collins, Emilie de Ravin, Kristen Bell, Kate Mara, Dita Von Teese , Marilyn Manson 's ex-wife.

Other A-listers who are big fans of Monique are California's First Lady Maria Shriver, actresses Michelle Trachtenberg, Shiva Rose, Perrey Reeves, Becki Newton, Rachel Nichols, Melissa Sagemiller, and Maria Menounos . All exchanged air kisses with Monique, who explained later why she has become the go-to gal when it comes to dressing Hollywood's elite.

 "I have the eye to make them look chic and feminine at the same time," Lhuillier explained. "And every time I dress someone for the red carpet, it is very much a collaboration. I steer them away from things that are not for them, and to the styles and shapes that will make them shine."

Monique Lhuillier's designs have graced the wedding aisle of some of Hollywood's most famous brides. Other fans of her ready-to-wear line include actresses such as Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba and America Ferrera.
