7 CHINESE, 2 PINOYS ARRESTED FOR ABDUCTING A CHINESE MAN
Nine suspected kidnappers—seven Chinese nationals and two Filipinos—were arrested in a police operation in Porac, Pampanga on Thursday afternoon, July 28 at 9:15 p.m.
Police authorities in Central Luzon successfully rescued a Chinese kidnap victim after the latter was able to call his live-in partner and divulged his possible location.
Operatives were quick to respond and initially located one of the vehicles used by the suspects during the abduction.
The owner of the rented vehicle gave the location of the car through its installed Global Positioning System (GPS).
They positively tracked the house where the victim was hidden.
On the scene were the seven Chinese male kidnappers and two Filipinos who took part in guarding the area.
The arrested kidnappers were identified as Wang Zhen Yu, He Lei, Guo Xiao Qiang, Shi Nan, Xu He Feng, He HAo, Huang Bing Zhou, and Filipino nationals Leoger B Buenaventura and Warren B Estera. They were positively identified by the kidnap victim.
According to police report, the victim was kidnapped by more than 10 male Chinese nationals aboard three vehicles in Angeles City. He was reportedly mauled by the suspects during the incident.
“Another pat on the back for our police personnel who carefully executed the operation so as not to endanger the life of the victim. We will coordinate with our Chinese police counterparts regarding this case,” PNP OIC Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. said.
