The Mindanao chapter of the country’s biggest business chamber will launch this Friday a center that will focus on its policy advocacies, an official of the group said last weekend.
Mary Ann Joy A. Lunasco, project officer of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Mindanao (PCCI-Mindanao), said the launching of the
Mindanao Trade Policy Center (MTPC) will be the highlight of the forum on ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Regional Integration.
"The MTPC will serve as the policy center for Mindanao business chambers," Ms. Lunasco said in a telephone interview.
"It will facilitate the advocacy programs that
Mindanao chambers are channeling to the government [sic] for possible intervention."
