𝗕𝗢𝗖-𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗣 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧-𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭

News Release - In its continuous effort to address the needs of its stakeholders, the Manila International Container Port (MICP) conducted its first ever Stakeholders’ Forum on 18 June 2021.

The virtual activity featured 4 esteemed speakers from the Port, namely: Formal Entry Division (FED) Port Appraisers Mr. Romy Lloyd So of Section 13 and Mr Eudes Nerpio of Section 1-B who both discussed on the customs clearance procedure of consumption entries.

Dr. Siegfred L. Manaois, Chief, Piers and Inspection Division (PID), who went thru the Electronic Tracking of Containerized Cargo (E-TRACC) System. And Atty. Jesus D. Balmores, Deputy Collector for Administration, MICP, who briefed the participants on the latest updates concerning the Port.

The forum was attended by participants from various stakeholder groups such as the Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. (CCBI), Super Green Lane (SGL) companies, Aksyon Agad Samahang Personero / Personera (AASSAP), and others from private organizations.

In his closing remarks, Atty. Balmores stressed that the Port is ready to take on new challenges as it moves towards providing more effecient public service. Balmores also assured stakeholders that inline with BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero's directives, the Port shall always be at the forefront of public service, ready to assist its clients with all their queries and concerns.
