Either you are Boholano, Maranao, Illocano, Illongo, Quezonian, Manilian etc.,

Beyond the arbitrary notion and human perception of regionalism, one thing is definite.
That we all share similar genetic traits, similar ethnic composition. Of the Malayan racial stock. One thing differentiates The Filipino from his Malayan brothers in Indonesia and Malaysia.

It is religion alone.

We are Christian, for the most part, and they, Muslim.

So, look beyond the regionalist tendencies that has plagued the mindset of our people, even before the arrival of the Spaniards.

Angie pointed it out perfectly,
"Nationality Filipino

So I was clicking through my YouTube videos when I realized there was someone on one of my videos that was stirring a debate whether "Filipinos" is the correct term for associating all people who were born & raised in the Philippines. What sparked my curiosity the most was the fact that this guy was claiming he was a "Cebuano" as opposed to a "Filipino" due to personal conflicts he had with his government.

So, out of curiousity ... what would you consider yourself to be? A Filipino, a Cebuano/or person from whatever specific town/barrio, or both?

I consider myself.....

simple question pinapagulo ntin, makababayan Filipino po tyo, being boholano, cebuano etc.... kung saan sa Pinas tyo nanggaling but ns Pinas tyo. kung ns ibang bansa tyo when they ask ...
what counrty are you from?
Philippines.
What is your citizenship?
Filipino.
and when they ask
Where in the philippines are you from?
and then we can say ...
we are from Bohol,Cebu,Mnl etc....
