"I had a fruitful courtesy meeting with Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. We discussed the deepening relations of Israel and the Philippines in areas of political relations, trade and innovation, defense cooperation, development cooperation through MASHAV, among others.
We also talked about the strategic changes in the Middle East especially after the Abraham Accords. I also updated Sec. Locsin about the successful implementation of the government to government agreement regarding the OFWs in Israel and the anticipated direct flights between our countries. Sec. Locsin gave updates concerning ASEAN."
