Good weather condition expected in the Philippines

Good weather condition is expected to prevail in most parts of the country except in Northern Luzon as a potential cyclone moves closer to extreme Northern Luzon, the state weather forecaster said on Saturday.

PAGASA said that as of 4:00 a.m., the low pressure area (LPA) was estimated at 980 km east of extreme Northern Luzon (21.3 °N, 132.3°E), while the southwest monsoon is affecting extreme Northern Luzon.

Weather forecaster Fernando Cada said the LPA has slim chance of intensifying into a tropical depression.

Once the weather disturbance intensifies into a cyclone,he said it will be named “Odette,” the 15th cyclone to enter the country this year.

He said the weather disturbance has no direct effect since it is still too far from the country’s landmass.

He added that at least three or four cyclones are expected to hit the country this peak month of September.

Cada noted that if the predicted cyclone maintains its current direction of north-northwest, it is expected to pass over the eastern side of Northern Luzon by the sea and will move towards southern Japan.

"Kung sakaling maging bagyo ito maaring nasa labas na ito ng bansa pero patuloy pa rin ang ating pag monitor," Cada explained.

He said the southwest monsoon may bring rains to parts of Northern Luzon and the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Cada said that fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorm is expected in most parts of the country including Metro Manila.

In its advisory, PAGASA said moderate to strong winds from the southwest will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southeast to south with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA also issued gale warning as strong to gale-force winds associated with the southwest monsoon may affect the northern seaboards of Northern Luzon.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
