𝟓 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐬 (𝐅𝐑) 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄-𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐏 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Occidental Mindoro, together with the Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), awarded financial and livelihood assistance to five (5) former rebels (FRs) who have returned to the fold of the law. Each FRs, who surrendered in the Province of Occidental Mindoro, received a total of P65,000 for livelihood and immediate assistance as outlines in Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP). The awarding ceremony was held on October 21, 2024, in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro.
E-CLIP is a flagship peace and order initiative aimed at helping members of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) and Militia ng Bayan (MB) reintegrate into society and restore their allegiance to the Philippine government.
