A Crested serpent eagle was released back in Mt. Sinai, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte. Found by a local resident in Piñan during heavy rain, the young eagle was rescued, treated, and released on November 21.
Thanks to the quick action and teamwork of the DENR-Community Environment and Natural Resources Office and Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, the bird is back where it belongs, reminding us of the power of community and conservation.
