PNA - GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – An official of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) reported that Cavite’s six cities and 16 towns are closing in on a 100 percent compliance of their respective road clearing operations in city and national roads here.
DILG director Elias Fernandez bared the results of the two-month road clearing operations in the Cavite province over the weekend after their validation and assessments on local government units (LGUs) in Cavite province that have complied with President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive through the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-121 dated July 29 this year.
Meanwhile, Cavite DILG provincial director Eloisa Rozul said Wednesday the cities of Bacoor got the 95 percent rating; Imus at 96.2 and Cavite City with 92 under the High Compliance rating while Dasmariñas City received only medium compliance rating and low compliance record for Trece Martires City.
In particular, DILG-GenTri local government operations officer Aladdino Calanog said the city obtained the 93 percent compliance rating while Tagaytay City also got a high compliance rating.
Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) president Alfredo Ching said: “all the 33 barangay chairpersons in this city are still working to comply to achieve the 100 percent mark.”
