By Rogelio Limpin

IMUS CITY, Cavite, Jan. 3 (PNA) -- The provincial command of the Philippine National Police (PNP) stationed here announced on Tuesday the zero stray bullet casualty in the province during the New Year’s revelry after so many years.

Cavite police director Senior Superintendent Arthur V. Bisnar said the province has no recorded indiscriminate firing or illegal discharge of firearm incident during the New Year’s celebration.

He added that posting of informative materials on the PNP’s campaign on zero-incident indiscriminate firing and pre-emptive security measures implemented which include among others, increased deployment of PNP personnel in the streets and active support and cooperation from the Local Government Executives (LGEs), friendly forces, other external stakeholders and the community had immensely contributed in the achievement of the peaceful celebration.

Likewise, the Police Director said that several types of firecrackers with an estimated value of Php 49,000 were confiscated for the violation of Republic Act 7183 (An Act Regulating the Sale, Manufacture, Distribution and Use of Firecrackers and Other Pyrotechnics Devices).

Bisnar expressed his gratitude to the people of Cavite for their cooperation and commended all the members of the Cavite police for effectively performing their duties particularly in the maintenance of peace and order in welcoming the New Year. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
