Carmen Colet has been appointed Commissioner of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.
She is the first Filipino to be appointed in the world renowned repository of Asian Art in America.
According to its website, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is one of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian Art, with a collection of over 17,000 artworks spanning 6,000 years of history. - PDI
