Duterte's micro-financing fund now in Tacloban.
As part of Administration’s commitment to provide affordable micro-financing program for the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), President Rodrigo Duterte (middle right), along with the Department of Trade and Industry Secretary (DTI) Ramon Lopez (middle left), Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Secretary Jun Evasco (Leftmost), and Mayor Cristine Gonzales Romualdez led the ceremonial launching of the Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3) on January 25 in Tacloban. As part of DTI’s strategic efforts to boost MSME development in the countryside, the P3 program brought together seven approved conduits, namely CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions, the Omaganhan Farmers Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Libercon Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC), Sapari MPC, Zaragosa Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Lanang MPC and Taytay sa Kauswagan, Inc., which will provide loans to various micro-enterprises. “We are continuously improving the access to our financial support system for the MSMEs to continue our vision of creating an inclusive industry growthâ€, said DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez.
