MARCE IS ABOUT TO MAKE LANDFALL IN SANTA ANA, CAGAYAN AND IS NEAR SUPER TYPHOON STRENGTH


Location of Center (1:00 PM)
The center of the eye of Typhoon MARCE was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Santa Ana, Cagayan (18.5°N, 122.5°E) 
Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 240 km/h, and central pressure of 940 hPa
Present Movement: West northwestward at 10 km/h
Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 560 km from the center

LUZON: The northern portion of Cagayan (Gonzaga, Santa Ana, Santa Teresita, Lal-Lo, Buguey, Aparri, Camalaniugan, Gattaran, Ballesteros, Allacapan, Abulug, Pamplona, Sanchez-Mira, Claveria, Santa Praxedes, Lasam) including Babuyan Islands, the northern portion of Apayao (Santa Marcela, Luna, Flora, Calanasan, Pudtol), and the northern portion of Ilocos Norte (Pagudpud, Bangui, Vintar, Dumalneg, Adams, Bacarra, Pasuquin, Burgos)

LUZON: Batanes, the rest of Cagayan, the rest of Apayao, the rest of Ilocos Norte, the northern portion of Abra (Tineg, Danglas, Lagayan, Lacub, San Juan, La Paz, Bangued), and the northern portion of Ilocos Sur (Sinait, Cabugao, San Juan, Magsingal, Santo Domingo)
