TUGUEGARAO CITY -- The chief of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Region 2 was shot dead Friday (Sept. 15) afternoon by still unidentified suspects while driving his Toyota Altis in Barangay Gonzaga Extension, Centro 10 here, police said.
Tuguegarao City Police Station (TCPS) chief, Supt. Edward Guzman, identified the victim as Atty. Neil Agustin, regional director of CSC-2.
Agustin was shot by riding-in-tandem suspects in the body and died on the spot, Guzman said.
Police are now conducting follow-up operations to determine the motive and identity the suspects. (PNA)
