Army, Navy and Marines combat engineers conduct joint drills
A composite team from the Philippine Army's 525th Engineer Combat Battalion (525ECB), 51st Engineer Brigade; 3rd Naval Combat Engineer Battalion of the Naval Combat Engineer Brigade, Philippine Navy; and Combat Engineer Battalion, Combat Support Brigade, Philippine Marine Corps concluded the five-day Engineer Explosives Demolition Training (EEDT) from May 23 to 28, 2022 at the Basic School, Marine Base, Camp Gregorio Lim, Ternate, Cavite.
The training is part of the 525ECB’s capability development program that aims to bolster the combat engineer skills and to hone their competencies in mobility, counter-mobility, and survivability functions in support of combined arms operations with emphasis on the use of explosives.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., commended 525ECB for continuously enhancing their skills and capabilities through the conduct of training activities.
