Hundreds of students and martial arts hobbyists in Western Visayas region are coming to Tangalan town for a two-day regional competition on arnis.
Councilor Jay Tejada said the event will be staged in the Tangalan Cultural Center this July 25 to 26. Tangalan mayor Gene Fuentes will welcome the delegates.
"We were told that arnis enthusiasts from Bacolod, Iloilo and neighboring provinces will be coming for the competition. The competition is a chance for Tangalan to showcase its tourism and agricultural product," he said.
Tangalan is known for its beaches which are considered one of the favorite dive sites in the province.(PNA)
