SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique, Aug.10 -- Antique Vice Governor Edgar Denosta on Thursday called for the establishment of tourist-friendly comfort rooms in the six most visited munipalities in the province.
Denosta, in an interview, said that he will present his proposal before the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in their next Thursday's session.
He said that with the growth of the tourism industry in Antique, tourists will definitely look for comfort rooms. More than 1.5 million visitors since January have reportedly visited the province.
He added that the 100-square meter comfort rooms will be built in Anini-y, where the Siraan Hot Spring and Nogas island are nearby; in Tobias Fornier, Aningalan in San Remigio where there is the zipline and beautiful sceneries; Malumpati in Pandan, Culasi where there is Mararison island, and Tibiao that boasts of several tourist attractions.
