SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique — Antique Governor Rhodora Cadiao said she has complete trust on Vice Governor Edgar Denosta and appealed to political detractors not to divide them but to help strengthen the economy of the province.
Cadiao, in her media interview on Tuesday, belied the text message purportedly from the cellular phone of Denosta mentioning the alleged suspension of the governor due to graft and himself vowing to lead a corrupt-free government in the province.
"We are now having the incident investigated," the governor said.
She said that it might be due to desperation of their political detractors who managed to "hack" the cellphone of Denosta and mislead Antiquenos.
Cadiao said the vice governor called to inform her about the text message last week while she was in Manila to speak in the forum of the National Nutrition Council concerning the malnutrition problem in the province.
