CAAP probes PAL incident in Kalibo Int'l Airport
MANILA, Jan. 11 (PNA) -- The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Wednesday said it has dispatched its investigators from the office of Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board (AAIIB) to conduct inquiry on the incident that happened at Kalibo International Airport Tuesday evening (January 10).
Initial reports from Area Manager Vl Efren Nagrama cited that an Airbus A320 operated by Philippine Airlines coming from Cebu-Mactan to Kalibo International Airport experienced engine problem upon landing Tuesday night at around 10:50 p.m.
"The plane landed safely with no injuries reported. The aircraft is now parked on ramp awaiting mechanic from Manila," CAAP said. (PNA)
