« on: May 04, 2010, 05:47:37 PM »
The Commission on Election (Comelec) is urging restaurants, resorts and bars in Boracay to apply for an exemption on liquor ban that will take effect on May 9-10.

Atty. Ian Lee Ananoria, Aklan provincial Comelec officer, said to date, only Shangrila Resort has applied with their office and have been granted approval.

“The deadline of submission of liquor-ban exemption is set on May 7 of this year so I am calling bar owners in this resort island to apply,” Ananoria said.

The Comelec prohibits selling and drinking of liquor a day and during the election in public places.

Those who will be caught drinking will be arrested by the police and will be penalized in accordance with the Comelec regulations. - PNA

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
