7 Nueva Vizcaya centenarians get PHP100K each
BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Jan 4 (PNA) -- Another batch of seven centenarians have received their P100,000 each incentive from the provincial government.
The recipients are Elizabeth Baingan of Barangay San Nicolas in Bayombong town; Segundo Bay-An of Barangay Belance in Dupax Del Norte town; Marcelina Velasco of Barangay Ibung in Villaverde town; Benito Duntogan of Barangay Nansiakan in Kayapa town; Macaria Sagun of Barangay Masoc in Bayombong town, Guinami Dinangwayan of Barangay Salingsingan in Ambaguio town and Ortag Ngola of Barangay Nagsabaran in Diadi town.
Ordinance Number 089 s. 2014 or the Centenarian ordinance provides financial incentive to a recipient and to encourage and promote healthy lifestyle among Novo Vizcayanos.
At present, there were already 43 centenarians who have their cash incentive which totalled PHP4.3 million.
“Even the national government will also be granting the same benefits to our centenarians, the provincial government will still be providing them as our counterpart in recognition of their being models and inspiration of healthy lifestyle,†Governor Carlos Padilla said. (PNA)
