I cant stop crying right now.
Memories of my friend comes back to me, so I will write this out right now.
It was April 17, 2007.
My last semester of Junior Year in Allegheny College.
A group of us were watching the movie, 'American Adobo' and you came by to watch it with me. lol. We all watched it and we all had a talk after the movie about the different culture of Filipinos as compared to Americans.
You said, "The Filipinos have a rich culture, a beautiful religious-centered culture and famly-bonding that is sadly lacking here."
It was a beautiful translation on your part, Robby. And for me as a Filipino-American, to hear such words from an American who was born in the USA and has never been abroad to the Philippines but to have such a regard on our people and culture--brought me to tears.
I miss you man. I can't stop the tears. Its been almost 2 years since then.
