veritable typhoon of awards rained down on Bamboo as the band won 6 out of the 15 awards given out at the 2007 NU107 Rock Awards held at the World Trade Center on November 30. The quartet won the coveted "Artist of the Year" and "Listener's Choice " awards as well as Best Live Act.
It was highly noticable though that it wasn't a clean sweep for Bamboo. The Best Vocalist catageory evaded Bamboo Manalac, but went instead to Kat Agarrado of the funk/soul band Sinosikat. (In a past life, Kat by the way was formerly a member of the jazz/pop band Passage along with Ira Cruz and Vic Mercado.)
