Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) is connecting with its community online April 15-17 for WiCyS Virtual 20 (WiCySv20). This robust schedule of sessions and career fair is set to continue the momentum of the WiCyS’ mission to recruit, retain and advance women in cybersecurity.

As we shift into the world of virtual connections, the WiCyS community remains strong. WiCySv20 is a technical virtual summit with plethora of opportunity for professional development. A wide variety of sessions will be led by knowledgeable leaders from companies such as Optum, Cisco, Raytheon, Microsoft, US Cyber Range, Netflix, and more.

Keynote speakers include Gretchen Block from Optum, Diane Janosek from NSA’s National Cryptologic School, Jennifer Buckner from Mastercard, Hart Rossman from Amazon, Ruchi Shah from Google, and Barbara Mueller from Raytheon.

The event closes with a virtual career fair on April 17, 1-5 p.m. CT. WiCyS Virtual 20 also will have networking opportunities plus virtual social events for professional affiliates, student chapters and all WiCyS members.

“During these unusual circumstances surrounding COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to join forces and embrace the WiCyS community,” said Lynn Dohm, WiCyS executive director. “Together, we will continue to move forward and overcome the challenges of shelter-in-place by connecting virtually. We have the talent and skill among us to learn, grow and continue to advance in both our educational pathways and careers. The WiCyS Virtual 20 will enable our members to do just that!”

All WiCyS members can attend this event for free, and new members are welcome. Become a member at http://www.wicys.org/join. WiCyS also has a new COVID-19 membership relief for recently unemployed professionals due to the pandemic. For $10, they can receive all the benefits from a three-month membership.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
