Why Pawnshop is a Big Business in the Philippines?

But in other countries you can hardly find one single pawnshop.

Phil Daily Inquirer news tidbits: Earlier this month, the BIR filed a case against pawnshop owner William Villarica, who bought a Lamborghini for P26 million in a year that he paid no income tax.

mingaw na ang mga pawnshops. I like to buy jewelries there, kanang mga na-remate, apan karon walay nay solod ang mga eskaparate.
