South Korea's trade surplus reached over US$ 5 billion in September, the eighth month in a row that the balance has stayed in the black, a government report showed Friday.
Exports gained 17.2 percent from a year ago to $ 39.75 billion last month with imports rising 16.7 percent to $ 34.74 billion, the report by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy said. (PNA/Yonhap)
