MANILA, Philippines - The Social Security System (SSS) expects to end the year with as much as P28 billion in net revenues, or P4 billion more than the roughly P24 billion posted in 2011, its top official told The STAR.
In an interview, SSS president and chief executive officer Emilio de Quiros Jr. said higher revenues would come from a combination of an improvement in operations and better investment income.
“I think we will be ending in the neighborhood of about P26 billion to P28 billion in net revenues. We did P24 billion last year. It will come from a combination of fixed income and good trading gains,†De Quiros said.

SSS would continue to improve its operations as well as manage its expenses well to be able to earn higher revenues this year.
