Raizada made his announcement one week after similar announcements from companies like Facebook and Google, as well as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s announcement that its employees would be allowed to work from home forever.
“During this unprecedented time, there is nothing more important than the health and safety of the entire SBV team, including our family and loved ones,” Raizada said. “To keep everyone safe, we will continue working from home until we can guarantee the health and safety of each and every team member.”
As a venture capitalist with decades of experience investing in products that would come to shape industries and change consumer behavior, Raizada is no stranger to adapting to change.
“Just as we have pivoted our investments to match changes in the world around us, we will pivot the way that we work for the foreseeable future to adapt to the realities of this new era in human history,” Raizada said. “I have absolute confidence that our country and economy will overcome this chapter in our history. And from it, we will emerge even stronger.”
