PRICES of school supplies in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental are now being closely monitored for the possible overpricing scheme by some establishments.

Department of Trade and Industry director Rebecca Racson told Sun.Star-Bacolod that the monitoring of prices has started last month of April.

Among the brands which the DTI is monitoring include Best Buy, Advance, Yasaka, Paperline, Merit, NBS Basics, Centurian, Top Line, and Veco.

Of these brands, she said would vary in prices on notebooks be it spiral, writing or composition type, for use of elementary level from grade 1 to 4. All must be in 80 to 90 leaves, she said, adding that the quality of the paper should be bond or econo-bond. Also included in their monitoring are the crayons and pencils.

She advised buyers to look for the brands with their respective reference price.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
